As of 2:30 p.m. Sunday, there have been 1,649,449 positive cases of the coronavirus recorded in the state. The case count includes 1,619,288 Florida residents and 30,161 non-Florida residents. There are 25,293 Florida resident deaths reported, 400 non-resident deaths, and 70,181 hospitalizations at some point during illness, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the CDC, Florida has recorded 46 positive cases of COVID-19 variants as of Jan. 20. The type of variants is not specified…
